Will Serfort enters a prestigious academy to fulfill his promise of reaching his friend Elfaria at the top of the Magicians' Tower. Unable to cast a single spell, he is scorned by students and teachers, but compensates with extraordinary strength and… swordsmanship; to rise through the ranks, he must prove that a blade can overcome trials meant for magic.

I'd recommend it for those moments when everyone looks down on Will and he responds by cutting a spell with his sword that seemed unstoppable.
You'll enjoy it if you're looking for magic academies, an underrated protagonist and flashy fights.
What sets it apart from other magic academies is that Will never unlocks a secret spell: he still can't use magic and makes up for that lack by fighting with a sword.
