Bam has always lived underground with Rachel, the only person he knows, until she leaves him to enter a tower said to grant any wish to those who reach the top. Bam opens the door himself and becomes an Irregular, someone not selected by the tower's… rules; alongside Khun and Rak, he faces deadly tests while searching for Rachel and learns that every floor is governed by bargains, betrayals, and administrators with their own agendas.

I'd recommend it for its tests, its powers and a cast full of characters who can help you today and sell you tomorrow.
You'll enjoy it if you're looking for challenges with its own rules, mystery and a very long vertical adventure.
What sets it apart from other ascent stories is in Bam's goal: while everyone rises for power or impossible desires, he enters the Tower alone to follow Rachel.
