Rin Okumura learns that he is Satan's son when his demonic powers awaken and his adoptive father, exorcist Shiro Fujimoto, dies protecting him. Rather than accept the role demons have prepared for him, Rin enters True Cross Academy to learn exorcism… beside his twin brother Yukio; he must conceal his lineage while controlling the blue flames that could turn him into the very thing he fights.

I'd recommend it for its academy, its demons and Rin, who has a lot of energy and a relationship with her brother that is much more complicated than normal.
It's a good fit if you're looking for supernatural action, friendship and family secrets.
What separates it from other exorcist anime is that Rin is the son of Satan: the sword that releases his fire to save others also reveals why he might be executed.
