In the far future, war has destroyed the entire Earth, leaving only a barren wasteland where the supply of water is controlled by the greedy king. In search of a long-lost lake, Sheriff Rao asked the king of the demons for help... and got the king's… son, Beelzebub, and his assistant, Thief.
Rao, Beelzebub, and Thief's unlikely alliance gives character to a search for water that challenges the king's power.
It is a good fit if you enjoy journeys through desert worlds, unlikely companions, and fantasy adventure.
The series revisits the film's expedition with additional footage before continuing into a new arc.
