Satoru Mikami is stabbed to death and reincarnates as a slime able to copy the abilities of anything he absorbs. In a cave he meets the dragon Veldora, receives the name Rimuru Tempest, and ends up protecting a goblin village; by uniting ogres, orcs,… and other species he builds a nation where monsters can coexist, but its rapid growth draws the attention of human kingdoms, demon lords, and wars that test that ideal.

I'd recommend it for Rimuru, his huge group, and how satisfying it is to see him turn a small monster shelter into an entire nation.
You'll enjoy it if you're looking for isekai, power fantasy, city building and a lot of diplomacy.
Unlike other power isekai, Rimuru's greatest ability is not to copy techniques by absorbing enemies, but to unite warring races and build them into a common nation.
