Korra, Aang's successor, arrives in Republic City to complete her Avatar training and learn airbending from Tenzin. She first faces Amon and the Equalists, who seek to eliminate bending, then spiritual conflicts, civil wars and authoritarian leaders;… each crisis challenges her identity and forces her to redefine the Avatar's role in a modern world.

I'd recommend it for Korra, its battles, Republic City and a personal evolution that does not give it any easy answers.
You'll enjoy it if you enjoyed Avatar and want more urban politics, new control styles and a protagonist very different from Aang.
Against Avatar, Korra begins by mastering almost all the elements and arrives at an industrial city; his biggest rivals attack his ideas and his identity, not just his strength.
