I'd recommend it because of how nice it is to see Miyo regain her voice, security, and affection within a relationship that also scared her at first.
It's a good fit if you're looking for historical romance, supernatural fantasy, and a story of emotional recovery.
What separates it from the supernatural Cinderella story is that Miyo's supposed lack of power is precisely the clue to a dream gift linked to a family that everyone fears.
