In Tokyo, an impenetrable field known as "Hell's Gate" appeared ten years ago. At the same time, psychics who wield paranormal powers at the cost of their conscience also emerged. Hei is one of the most powerful of these psychic agents, and along wit…h his blind associate, Yin, works for one of the many rival agencies vying to unlock the mysteries of Hell's Gate.
I'd recommend it for Hei, his missions and a dark Tokyo where each power comes with a strange and obligatory price.
You'll enjoy it if you're looking for supernatural espionage, science fiction and very secretive protagonists.
What separates it from other superpower series is the mandatory price: each Contractor must fulfill a specific mania or punishment after using their ability, from smoking to breaking their fingers.
More anime like Darker than Black, selected by genre, theme and viewing style.
