Siliang is a prison island between the world of the gods and the celestial realm, where immortals and mortals coexist under ancient rules. Tu Li becomes entangled in mysteries and conspiracies that challenge the island's established order.
I'd recommend it for its landscapes, its mystery and the intrigues of an island where almost everyone seems to know something that Tu Li still doesn't.
It's a good fit if you're looking for slow-paced Chinese fantasy, immortals, and family secrets.
What makes it different within Chinese fantasy is its beautiful and oppressive island: it brings together banished immortal beings who, despite their powers, cannot cross the sea or return home.
