When Sakamoto meets Aoi, the convenience store clerk, it’s love at first sight — and just like that, he retires. Sakamoto gets married, has a daughter, opens a mom-and-pop store in a quiet town, and completely transforms … into a plus-size man. To en…sure a peaceful life with his beloved family, the legendary ex–hit man bands together with comrades to face off against the looming threat of assassins.
I'd recommend it for its creative fights and for seeing the most feared assassin solve an ambush while still tending to his family store.
It's a good fit if you're looking for action, comedy and very strong characters with everyday life.
What sets it apart from other legendary assassins is that Sakamoto retired, gained weight and promised not to kill; now he wins with supermarket products while protecting his quiet family life.
