I'd recommend it for its oppressive atmosphere, its animation and a political drama that stays with you long after you finish.
It's a good fit if you're looking for adult thriller, uchronia and a slow and tragic story.
What separates it from other crime thrillers is how it turns Little Red Riding Hood into a political operation: Fuse has been trained to be the wolf and Kei takes the other role.
More anime like Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade, selected by genre, theme and viewing style.
