The Church burns Dracula's human wife Lisa as a witch, and the vampire responds by promising to exterminate Wallachia with an army of night creatures. Trevor Belmont, last heir to a disgraced family of hunters, joins the magician Sypha Belnades and A…lucard, Dracula's own son; the three must stop the slaughter while bishops, rival vampires, and old family wounds intensify the war.
I'd recommend it for its adult action, its dialogues and the trio of Trevor, Sypha and Alucard, who work great both fighting and fighting.
It's a good fit if you're looking for vampires, dark fantasy, gore and sharp humor.
Unlike the villain who only wants to conquer, Dracula declares war because he no longer wants to live after losing Lisa; their extermination is also a form of suicide.
