Give it a shot if you want a quiet series that inspires the desire to go out into the mountains and look for shiny stones on your own.
It's a good fit if you're looking for slice of life, geology and educational excursions.
What sets it apart from other slice of life hobbies is the rigor of mineralogy: each stone requires terrain, tools and real observation; finding it matters more than showing off a collection.
