I'd recommend it for Kadode and Ontan and for a science fiction that makes the normality of going to class under an alien ship feel extremely strange.
It's aimed at an adult audience looking for friendship, politics, war and everyday life.
What distinguishes it from other alien invasions is that the ship has been over Tokyo for years and life goes on; propaganda, discrimination and adolescence reveal a normalized disaster.
